Isi artikel
This paper aims to arrange Organizational Absorptive Capacity and Knowledge Integration, and to analyze the relation between the sub-constructs of those two concepts. Seven sub-constructs of research variables are suggested through use of the structural equation model. LISREL software was used to verify the hypotheses with 145 survey sheets. All data were collected from members of various organizations in South Korea. In conclusion, Prior Relevant Knowledge has a significant effect on Knowledge Integration Efficiency, while Communication Network has a positive correlation with all sub-constructs of Knowledge Integration. In addition, Knowledge Scanning and Knowledge Integration Scope show significant relations. Although this paper makes reference to previous research dealing with Absorptive Capacity and Knowledge Integration, there has not been any empirical research focusing on the relation between Absorptive Capacity and Knowledge Integration on an organizational level. This paper can provide managers with practical guidelines for organizational learning management resulting from the research findings.
