Most homes now have equipment such as computers, televisions, and telephones (defined as ICT devices). Although their arrangement place is important, no method has been established to extract the arrangement demand for ICT devices. In the field of product development, however, the technique of quality function deployment (referred to as QFD) is used to reflect the customer’s voice in products and services. In this study, we applied QFD to arrangement. We clarified the problem in application and defined the arrangement demand, arrangement place, and correspondence between the arrangement demand and arrangement place in order to figure out the problem.
