The drawings for the mass production are important documents to ensure the quality of the products. Although, some drawings from development branch include unclear expressions with remarks such as “the surface should be smooth”. These expressions have the potential to become the cause of defects. In order to reduce the occurrence of such expressions, it is necessary to analyze each expression to grasp the whole pictures. In addition, it is required to deploy issues of the development of new products for each section of these from the case examples. In this paper, we first clarify the sort of vague description in the drawings. Then, we extract the countermeasures for each expression. We also present some cases to eliminate wrong expressions in drawings.
