In order to assure quality with limited available resources, hospitals have to examine operational processes. To this purpose, a method for expressing operational processes-related information allowing those involved to grasp, without omissions, the relevant information, is indispensable. Currently, no such method taking into account the complex particularities of hospitals' operational processes is established. In this research, we develop such a description method. We develop our model by introducing Process Approach concepts adopted in the ISO 9001 family and by organizing hospital operational processes. Finally we test the model by applying it to a hospital's clinical test operational process.
