For a three-level orthogonal array, two-factor interactions are distributed across two columns. For this reason, number of main effects that can be allocated to three-level orthogonal arrays is limited. The previous study proposed a method permitting the partial confounding of two-factor interactions, where many factors can be allocated to L27 orthogonal array. There are supersaturated designs for similar purposes. In this paper, we consider which columns to allocate factors to L27 orthogonal array in the previous study. We evaluate situation with the many main factors and two-factor interactions. Moreover we compare the proposal with the previous studies and supersaturated designs.
