Recently, there has been a spike in public concern over medical safety. It is important to prevent troubles in healthcare processes. Toward this objective, reusable knowledge regarding trouble is needed. In addition, knowledge about trouble should be accumulated in an appropriate structure. The objective of this research was to construct a knowledge base detailing the mechanism of trouble occurrence in the field of healthcare. We designed a method to acquire knowledge regarding trouble and executed the method.
