JICA Project started working in 5 districts of Madhya Pradesh in September 2005 with the strategy - start small and grow big using 5 S and Kaizen to bring Total Quality management in the health service delivery in a phased manner by learning and experimenting. In Madhya Pradesh, JICA Project started providing technical cooperation for operationalisation and implementation of the National Rural Health Mission also launched in 2005 by the government of India providing necessary finances with a vision to improve the quality of life of its citizens by doing the necessary architectural correction in basic health care delivery system.
