Good nursing care is the cornerstone in terms of patient satisfaction. Patient satisfaction has been advocated as a unique clinical end point indicator of the quality of the health care provided. Patient satisfaction with nursing care is considered an important factor in explaining patients' perceptions of quality delivered in the health care sector; it is a critical contribution in sustaining hospital vibrancy. Various studies indicate that nursing care is a key determinant of overall patient satisfaction during hospital admissions. The present study utilized 3 main parameters – nursing care at day, night and administration of medications for evaluation. These parameters are linked to patient satisfaction. This proves the fact that good nursing care is the cornerstone for patient satisfaction.
