In Parliamentary form of Government, the Government is responsible to the Legislature and through them to the people at large. The Parliamentary Committees strive hard towards ensuring the improvement of the quality of Governance. The paper present consists of two parts. Part-I elaborates upon the qualities of good governance, structure of the parliamentary Committees, their functions and procedure. Part-II contains the analysis of four selected recommendations of the Public Accounts Committee of Parliament and their impact in terms of quality of the governance.
