Information Technology (IT) is the process of collecting information, analyzing information, communicating the information and managing the information processes efficiently using the computer technology. Website management technology is the process of creating an interactive product through usage of computer technology. Website design is the process of design an e-product, which is suitable to satisfy the customers. Website is a place where different business process information is provided and the same may be accessible to any customer or supplier or any interested party. Here in Distance Education point of view IT and Website management technology plays vital role in satisfying its learners. The Total Quality Management (TQM) also plays an important role in maintaining the quality of information from the origin of the information creation to reaching the information to learners in distance education. TQM objective is to providing the required and accurate information with in no time. It is only possible by the efficient and effective utilization of IT and Website technology. TQM tries to design an excellent product of website it improves the number of visitors or learners and also satisfy the learners through their excellent information. The learners can access the website where they are working, when they at home and anywhere in the world. In the distance education system by proper planning of resources the efficiency of IT and website can be improved. Here in this paper the authors are going to discuss the role of TQM practices in improving the quality of IT and website management, which intern satisfies the learners in distance education.
