Isi artikelWith the increasing appreciation for quality in education, there is a need for placing QualityManagement System (QMS) and then school accreditation to meet the expectations of all stakeholders. This paper is a result of the action research undertaken in twelve schools of Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD). The project work resulted into developing Quality Management System (QMS) and then preparing them for accreditation. For this purpose, the ‘Accreditation Standard for Quality School Governance’ developed by Quality Council of India (QCI) was applied. It is expected that the project would provide vital inputs for Quality in Primary Education, as envisaged under Right to Education (RTE).
