The implementation of TPS will result in huge benefits, which causes the industries widely implement TPS around the world. But most of the adopters only emphasize the technique practices of TPS, neglect the critical roles of the human elements in the implementation of TPS. Thus, we first discuss and develop the holistic Toyota production system, which integrates the human elements and TQM practices. Then we conduct the empirical study based on this integrated model. Automobile and motorcycle industries implement TPS practices more early, and get significant performances. Bicycle industry held A-Team association in 2002, and adopted TPS practices form Toyota Company, they implement TPS just more than five years, but result in good benefits. These industries put much effort on the applications of, “humanity”, “HRM”, and “TQM” practices, and obtain very good benefits. The analytic results also reveal that the early adopters have had the significant benefits form the implementation of TPS. It causes the high-tech companies start the adoption of TPS practices and will be to become the “lean enterprises”.
