Isi artikel
This presentation examines why managers in three different organizational functions need to engage in extensive inter- and intra-organizational boundary spanning and how managers in these roles rely on their interpersonal power/influence to achieve their objectives. The organizational functions (positions) include new venture managers, project managers, and product managers. While each function is responsible for diverse organizational tasks, there are important similarities in the boundary spanning requirements of each function.
