With the objective of understanding how characterizes contemporary capitalism, started from the 1970s, their relations, Globalization and its consequences, we prepared a review of the forms in which capitalism organizes itself since its origin. To this end, we used the classical authors as VI Lenin, EJ Hobsbawm and F. Chesnais, which assist in the grounding of the research and historical analysis of how capitalism since its maturation with the insurrections of the nineteenth century, over the course of its imperialist phase, to the present day. From their bases of accumulation capitalism finds a prosperous period of development, after the Second World War, period that lasts until the 1970s. From this moment, world economic crises altered the relationship of countries and hegemonic powers, in a period called globalization. It is concluded that the new economic policies that legitimized the power of capital and its variations, do not break with the logic of capitalist accumulation.
