Isi artikelThis study is an attempt to identify China’s outward FDI. The factors have been separated into push and pull factors. The pull factors are studied through the co-integration method, while ECM is used to identify the push factors. Internalization Theory is the main conceptual framework. This result shows Asian exports of fundamental products and GDP per person employed are positive associated the OFDI. However, regulatory quality is negative. For the push factors, China’s GDP, exports, exchange rate, and patents are found to negatively impact outward FDI. Nonetheless, China's foreign reserves and wage are determinants at 5% significance. With private enterprises going abroad more than state-owned enterprises, they go to developed countries for technology to exploit the China's large domestic market.
