Consumers frequently use advertisement as a medium to dig information looking for goods or services that fit to their needs and purchasing power. Currently consumers shall be careful on information that they gather from advertisement because there still found a lot of dishonest producers and tend to use consumers just as an object. In the absence of advertisement law to regulate advertising activities, so that practical guide for producers still not take place. In this research, the problem that will discuss is how the advertising producers liability upon giving misleading information. The research method use normative juridical approach with analytical descriptive specification.
