Isi artikel
Based on a concrete proposal for the semantics of the vague quantifiers few and many, which suggests unspecified parameters that are hard to assess by introspection, we argue for the potential value of data-oriented computational modeling. We demonstrate how semantic values can be estimated from experimental data and a probabilistic model of language use.
