Isi artikelIncreasing attention has been paid to children’s psychological well-being, with the increase of disasters happened worldwide in recent two decades. This article presents overall impacts of disasters on children’s psychological development. The article also investigates a variety of post-disaster interventions for children. Collaborative approaches involving school, family, and community as well as art therapy are explored in this article. The article aims at providing mental health professionals with considerations and guide in working with children following a disaster.
