Isi artikel
Basal cell carcinoma (BCC) and squamous cell carcinoma (SCC) of the skin are the most common cancers in the United States and in predominantly light-skinned populations worldwide, and incidence is increasing.1-3 In the United States, they are more common than all other cancers combined, affecting millions of Americans each year.1,2 Although they have a high cure rate, they are still responsible for well over 1000 deaths annually.2,4 In 2010 they were responsible for more disability-adjusted life years than melanoma in the United States.
