The purposes of this paper are to (1) provide a solution in writing a descriptive text faced by First Grade of Junior High School Students by using tagxedo technique (2) explain to the teacher about the stages of teaching using this technique. The teacher uses tagxedo as a model in creating a descriptive text. In this technique, the students will be shown a tagxedo which includes of vocabulary and image. Then, the teacher explains the existed vocabularies and classifies it into two groups;adjectives and nouns. Helped by the image,the students write a descriptive text by using the existed vocabularies in tagxedo. Then, the students edit the rough draft that is written before by considering two steps: checking the paragraph as a whole and checking paragraph for the good form, grammar, organisation, punctuation, spelling and so on. Last, the students write the final draft of the descriptive text.
