Isi artikel
The imperative of establishing and maintaining economically sustainable enterprises, particularly in a country like the Philippines cannot be overstated especially if such firms provide vital sources of sustainable employment opportunities for the teeming millions of unemployed and underemployed Filipinos as well as investment generation for supporting ancillary firms. That said, this paper attempts to examine some key determinants of Sustainable Economic Performance of the Firm, namely; Extent of Use of Strategic Finance and the Core Competence of the Firm. The paper further tries to investigate the effect of some moderating variables such as the Organization Innovation Culture, Long-Term View of the firm, Stage in the Industry Life Cycle and the Firm?s Common Good Practices that enhance and restrict the impact of such key determinants to Sustainable Economic Firm Performance. In order to illustrate such relationships, the paper profounds a conceptual framework for validation in further research.
