Isi artikelThe increasing measures of visitors from China to Japan are expected under the decreasing condition of foreign visitors in Japan. However, the economic and political exchanges between the both countries have been on pause due to the issue of Senkakus. The possibility of export expansion of traditional craft goods and Japanese food culture is investigated in this study. China is considered as main exporting country in Japan. The increasing measure of visitor number from China is also important. This study’s purpose is to vitalize Japanese tourism industry. At that time the omotenashi (Japanese traditional hospitality) plays an important role. The experiences of purchasing souvenir and a kaiseki meal were carried out for Chinese students and questionnaire study (including hearing investigation) was implemented. As a result, they showed a strong interest in the experience and indicated the high possibility for distribution and branch shop. They experienced gold leaf craft-goods and kaiseki meal as traditional Japanese dish at a hotel in Kanazawa. Subjects are thirteen Chinese students living in Kanazawa. There is an opinion that the price is high for the souvenirs and meal. It is necessary to construct a strategy focusing on target customer.
