Isi artikel
Human values are the foundation for implementation of TQM and considered as guiding philosophy for desirable behavior. These values cannot be in isolation as they are associated with the real situation. These human values have been described in different fields such as psychology, management, business etc and have been identified generally with different measurement instruments and techniques. However, there is a little research found in literature for the identification of these human values in a real situation, especially for TQM implementation. This study focuses to review and compare the techniques available for the identification of human values in a real situation. It is found that there are only few techniques that support the identification of human values in a real situation such as photo elicitation and story telling. This study assists the academia and business organization, especially quality and human resource managers by providing the better understanding of techniques that should be used for human values identification in a real situation. This research can act as input by providing the appropriate technique/s that supports the identification of human values in a real situation for our upcoming human values identification research prototype tool for the TQM implementation.
