Recently, the visual field impaired by the glaucoma increases. In Japan, there are two kinds of visual impairments, one is an impaired vision and another is a visual field defect. Though many systems supporting visually impaired have been developed, ones for the visual field defect have hardly been done. The reasons are that the visual field impairments with both eyes do not find their own lack of sight and that they do not feel much inconvenience owing to their remaining eyesight. When they once find their lack of visual field, they are very dangerous condition. For the visual field impaired person, we built the system to give a normal person's view, and manufactured as tunnel vision support glasses in 2011. Visual images are transported to the glass in real time. A person wears our new glass and can walk around with it. However, visual field defects have varieties in position and size. So, we improved our glass not only for the tunnel vision but also for the hemianopia and the scotoma in 2012. For our new glasses, we can control the position and size of visual field where a normal person's view is projected there. The problem is our previous were solved, such as the transfer rate, the battery trouble, the connectivity problem, and the position of the view. For the newer model of our glass, we adopt two types of HMD, one is an eyes-covered type and another is transparent a superposed view type. The two glasses was compared in merit and demerit by experiments. As a result, the visual field impaired person prefers the eye covered type HMD.
