A technique to improve the optical power of eyes for developing a normal image of eyes is by implanting an intra-ocular lens. A defective lens produced by a specific manufacturing process consequently can cause a negative effect on eyes. The objective of this study is to analyze the quality control on manufacturing the intra ocular lens in PT. Rohto Laboratories Indonesia. A statistical process control (SPC) was used to control the quality of lens production process. The result then shows that the lens type of PMMA with cause of a thickness dominance of disability and the type of foldable lens with causes of chip dominance of disability were out of control. It means that the manufacturing process needs to be improved by replacing some older machines with the latest ones for the increasing productivity.
