Isi artikelExercise before sleep (EBS) is considered to be beneficial for sleep quality. However, rarely do they discuss the relationship between resistance training and sleep quality. Through research and experiment, the study aims to investigate the influence between sleep quality and exercise before sleep. The experiment recruited young subject, healthy voluntary male who operates 6 sets of low intensity resistance training within 20 RM loads by dumbbells. The data of 5 days' EBS and non-EBS are recorded by EZSLEEP Sleep Quality Recorder. The result shows significant differences between EBS and non-EBS group. The mean sleep quality index of EBS group was 87.4 verses 41.4 by non-EBS group. For EBS group, the amount of deep sleep was significantly increased and respiratory instability was relatively less.
