Enrollments are a concern to all foreign language teachers, since national figures show a decline in the number of students taking foreign languages. However, there has been an increase in the number of foreign language students at Fremont Senior High School, which can be attributed, in part, to the significant role of Foreign Language Club activities. By involving students, faculty, and parents, these activities have resulted in a positive attitude toward languages and the language program. A Foreign Language Week is one example of a combined effort to promote the program in the school and community. A format is provided for using this successful promotional activity.
