The nomber of working mother is increasing in Indonesia, especially in the capital city-Jakarta. Working mother who have children are still responsible for the care of their children, Alternatively, while they are working, they can leave their children to the granmother. Gradmother who acted surrogate prents for working mother applied a particular parenting. Parenting dimentions of parenting of Slater & Power Includes Support, Structure and control. It is omportand to know the dimensions of parenting it has the influence on the developmental of each grandchild. Grandchidren in the toddler stage of development of autonomy vs.shame and doubt are being trained how to control themselves and to establish a warm relationship with the closet poelple around them. The data was colloted qualitatively in an effort to have a picture about garndparenting towards toddler-age granchlidren. Research intervwed two 45-59 year old grandmother (middle adulthood) and two 60-year-old and older grandmothers (late adulthood). This research shows that the granmotehe who in middle and late adulthod have a varied picture of parenting, especially in the dimention structure.
