This paper introduces JSQC-Std 32-001 "Guidelines for Daily Management" developed by the Japanese Society for Quality Control (JSQC) in 2013. Japan has already prepared standards for “Policy Management” as JIS Q 9023:2003 and “Quality Improvement” as JIS Q 9024:2003. However, no standard for "Daily Management" which is one of the core elements of TQM has been developed in spite of its importance. Because of the large variation and confusion happening about the basic concept and practices of “Daily Management” among organizations and experts, many miscommunications could have happened in trading of products, developing/evaluating/auditing of quality management systems and so forth. This JSQC standard gives the comprehensive views for the important concepts and methods in “Daily Management” with aiming further spread and improvement of TQM. The purpose of this paper is to introduce this standard to the global quality world widely
