There is a lack of skilful workers in all trades of the construction industries in Hong Kong & China. Timber formwork is the common use materials. “Save forest by using less timber” is the slogan of the environmental scientists. The aim of this research work is to find a product to replace timber, simultaneously to train more workers to resolve the insufficient labours’ problem. Even in China, as a huge population country needs to relax its controversial one-child policy which leads its expansion of man-power and labour forces. Canada’s Minister of labour also addresses Canada’s skill shortage in the Inter-American Conference. The demand of labour forces in the carpentry and joiner is such a huge number of more than a thousand every year in Hong Kong. That is the reason why the daily wage of carpenter as stipulated by labour union is US$200 per day starting from 1st Nov, 2013. Researcher has a patent of alum-alloy formwork in the year of 2000 in Hong Kong and China which enables semi-skill workers to handle without difficulties. A trial has been done by the researcher to test the matrix system among aluminium grid with plastic-fibre panel which is safe and easier for worker. By using plastic-fibre panel, it will minimize the cutting tree in making timber board. It is a way to save forest in the environmental world
