Isi artikelMahindra and Mahindra Limited has acquired the business assets of Kinetic Motor Company Limited in 2008, which becomes Mahindra Two Wheelers Limited (MTWL) with technical partnership with Taiwan's Sanyang Industry and Italy’s Engines Engineering. MTWL has introduced couple of scooters and motorcycle models from 2008 - 2011 and the business has witnessed drop of sales volumes, market share and revenue more than 50% and the brand value was eroded due to product failures and imposed major risk on survival of business. To revive the business with differentiated products and services, MTWL has adopted Total Quality Management Vehicles like Policy management through BSC Deployment, Daily work management, Standardization, Quality Management and Improvements to achieve breakthrough results of PQCDSME with multiple organization wide drives. TQM adoption begin with MTWL’s ambitious Vision 2020 and after TQM rollout, MTWL has developed a first 110cc indigenous Mahindra Centuro motorcycle equipped with five patented features, purchased more than 1,50,000 happy customers and become the most preferred motorcycle brand in commuter segment in 2013. MTWL has been awarded as “Bike Maker of the year, “Sliver Innovation Award for disruptive product offerings” “Golden Award for QC techniques application” and “Best in Class for CSR”. With adoption of TQM, MTWL has put back the business on track with delivered 91% growth in sales volume, revenue and market share in year 2014 and aspire to achieve the Vision 2020 business objectives
