Isi artikelIn this paper we will present a theatrical psychotherapy process where Gods introduce a scene and a mask to be played by an actor-patient. This process is enrolled in a virtual reality set composed by images, symbols and mythology. In this perspective, psychotherapy consists in a mediation process that establishes a negotiation between Gods or between men and Gods. To explain this divine game, we were particularly inspired by Georges Dumézil’s Ideological Trifunctional Theory, which establishes the existence of three divine and mythic structures. In our perspective, we might recognize these divine structures in three corresponding dionysiac characteristics: the Nobility/Recognize, the Conflict/Power and the Fecundity/Regeneration. These three characteristics of drama structure our lives and put us into action.
