Isi artikelWolff -Parkinson-White syndrome (WPW) is a syndrome of pre-excitation of the ventricles of the heart due to an accessory pathway (AP). This AP is an abnormal electrical communication from the atria to the ventricles. While the vast majority of WPW syndrome remain asymptomatic, there is a risk of sudden death, the incidence of less than 0.6%, due to tachyarrhythmias. Determination of AP location mostly uses Arruda’s algorithm. Other algorithms are also good in predicting AP location. Diff erent methods could produce diff erent results.
