This article discusses the advantages of Indonesian bilinguals’ experiences in acquiring the second language either local or Indonesian language and possibilities to use these experiences in English language learning. The learning experiences take roles to motivate, develop and maintain the English language learning process. Instead of replicating it, adjustment should be made due to the different approaches and applications of several aspects such as culture, grammatical features, learning environment, length of the learning period, learning process, objectives of learning between the second and the third language.
