This paper tells the story of a land conflict in Indonesia from the perspective of history, land conflicts have taken place since pre-independence Indonesia. This paper tells a land conflict in 1960-1965 where at that time the political parties, especially the PKI (Communist Party) was involved in a conflict over land. The conflict was brutal and cause of death. In the New Order era political parties do not exist in the village, the state has a very strong role in the case of land, the state can take land or buy cheap land from the people, in the reform era, the country is not too strong, so that the people can do demonstrations and make negotiations with the rulers of the land.
