after a long debate and tinged by relationship tension between Jakarta-Jogyakarta. a new legal basis settings of Special Region (DI) Yogyakarta Government finally approved by the House and then passed by the President on August 31. 2012: Law No, 13 of 2012. The birth of that law not only of significant Importance from the legal framework but also contain some substances (political content) which are more.advanced compared to the number of previous regulations- If examined from the perspective of asymmetric decentralisation, it seems to me. such an advanced move can be said to meet relatively the expectations of content of privilege / specificity of an asymmetric autonomous region. This paper is intended to review a part of ihe content of privilege/specificity, and at the end could indicate the rest of the problems that still need improvement in the future or at least can more complete it at the level of policy instrumentation as an interpretation of the law mentioned.
