Since the recommendations made by the Psychometric Society’s Committee on the Relation of the Psychometric Society to the Federation of Statistical Societies will be considered at the September 1950 meeting of the Psychometric Society at State College, Pennsylvania, an analysis of the problem made by the Chairman of the Committee is presented here. It is followed by the final report of the Committee.
