Isi artikelThe present study explores the differences in motivation and anxiety levels among Black collegiate students (n=571) who attend Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU) and Predominantly White Institutions (PWI). Two survey instruments were used to examine the differences based on campus environment. Findings indicated that there were differences in both motivation and anxiety levels across the four universities, indicating significance among the factors of motivation, and anxiety.
