The purpose of this final project is 10 design an air-to-air heat exchanger which is applicable 10 utilize thermal energy contained in the flu e gas produced by incineration process, which then will be applied for the sludge drying process. The sludge itself comes from the sedimentation of the waste water treatment plant (WWTP). The application of the air to air heal exchanger for sludge (frying process is expected to be able to reduce sludge disposal cost to become more efficient and more economical. Based all the design result the air-to-to air heal exchanger is expected to be able 10 transfer 44 kW of thermal energy and the temperature outcome from the heal exchanger is expected 10 be at 30ffe. Due 10 the drying process prior to sludge disposal, its cost can be saved for USD 20,440.OO year.
