Isi artikelThis article explore the women's perception toward obstacles of career development in the workplace, both structural and socio cultural obstacles. Structural constrains come from inside organization. It can be in the form of recruitment and selection policies, lack of mentoring process, promotion policy, evaluation policy, institutionalized male dominance, and the role of women employees. Socio cultural constraints are obstacles that occur between female employee and career problems, family, and the company. Most of the responses say that no constraints (structural nor sociocultural) exist in the workplace. The study shows that the respondents have the same perception of career constraints based on the length of work experiences. The study also show that a different perception exists on how the constraint occur in career development. (Upload Full-Text_Ali_Desember 2023)
