This study examines knowledge of change agents in higher education upon fundamental aspects of change and change process according to their individual characteristics. Beside that, this research identify the difference knowledge of fundamental aspects of change and knowledge of change process between individual characteristics. This survey use Managing Change Questionnaire from W. Warner Burke Associates to collect data to Daily Executive Body of Foundation (BPH Yayasan) as external change agent and Rector of University-Institute/Head of College/Dean as internal change agent in private higher education in Yogyakarta Special District. The Method of data analysis use descriptive statistic, independent sample t-test, and analysis of variance. The result shows the relationship between knowledge of change agents upon fundamental aspects of change and change process with individual characteristic weak or knowledge of change agent not related with individual characteristics. Then knowledge of change agents in higher education upon fundamental aspects of change and change process according to their individual characteristics not different.
