Isi artikel
Sudanese is one of the language in West Java and Banten Proinces. It is a second big ones of local languages in Indonesia. Sundanese employs three pragmatics markers of particles, such as teh, tea, and mah for marking new, given, and introduced informations, respectively. These particles show that teh and tea behave as a special kind of determiner, but the role of mah as one of the comparative marker for subject animate and inanimate. These three particles serve the function of pragmatic role in sentences or texts, especially for tea will play the role of reintroducing informations to the hearer. It can be compared with demonstrative or determiner this or that or itu in Indonesian, so the expression of “Ini teh susu” in English „This is milk.”Tea functions as a semantics marker of the information that?s already known by both speaker and hearer. This paper will expalain the role and function of this three particles from the point of view of pracmatics
