The purpose of this research is to analyze weighted financial ratios and competitive ratios, whic are useful to predict company profitability. The profitability is measured by return on equity (ROE). This research explores twelve traditional ratios that are divided by industry ratios called weighted financial ratios. This research also identifies six ratios indicating how management compete with competitors in demand and supply sides called competitive ratios. The sample is go-public Indonesia manufacturing companies that are divided into two mutually exclusive groups.
