To the present days, it has not been quite clear how basic skill counseling could be increased through experiential learning or not. These research objectives were aimed at finding out the influence of experiential learning for increasing basic skill counseling. The research was conducted with quasi experiment method. The dependent variable was Basic Skill Counseling and the Indepenpent variable was Experiential Learning. Basic Counseling Skill Test was used as the intrument for data measurement. The subject of the research was junior counsellor at Kerabat Kasih Keluarga Nazareth from Surabaya in East Java. Total research subject are 15 people. The data was analysed using paired sample test. The result pointed out that there was significant differences of Basic Skill Counseling before and after studied through experiential learning, t = -3,281 with p < 0,05. The result showed in the fact that after having been through experiential learning, the subjects were able to increase basic skill counseling.
