Isi artikelThe purpose of this study is to examine the effect resilience toward juvenile delinquency of teenager from divorced parents in South Jakarta. This study is also aimed at identifying the contribution of each dimension of resilience toward the juvenile delinquency. This study applied quantitative method using multiple regressions for data analysis. The study involved 173 students drawn from 12 junior secondary schools in South Jakarta using non probability sampling technique. In collecting the data, this study used two instruments. First, resilience scale adapted from Resilience Question (RQ) developed by Reivich and Shatte(2002). Second, juvenile delinquency scale developed by the researcher with reference to theory of Gunarsa and Gunarsa (2009) concerning to juvenile delinquency. The findings of the study indicate that there is significant effect of resilence toward juvenile delinquency of teenagers from divorced parents with the significance value of 0.003 (p<0.05). The R Square (R2) value is 0.13 which means that about 13% of the juvenile delinquency of tennagers from divorced parents is determined by the resilience.
