Isi artikelGenerally financial markets consists of loan, money and capital markets, Historically in Indonesia money and capital markets have been developed since 1912 by the Dutch Government. The growth of the money and capital markets, however were not smooth, even thought hey were closed down. From 1977 to 1992 the money and capital markets were damaged by BAPEPEAM. From 1992 up ti now they have been managed by BEJ trades stocks and bonds. Those who want to bear high risk may go into the stock market because they hope for a high profit in capital gains and dividends. Those who do not want to bear high risk may go into the bond market, though the profit is smaller but the risk is lower than to the stock market.
