Matriculation refers to the format process of entering a university. Matriculation is needed to ensure that students have the same basic concepts of mathematics, regardless of their varied education backgrounds. This paper compares the grades achieved by 2 groups of students in the subjects of Calculus I, Calculus II, Calculus III, and Calculus IV; in which one group does not take any matriculation programs and the other group takes the matriculation program held by the Faculty of Engineering Atma Jaya University.
