The present paper is an experimental study of the dynamic structure of a car body using a force excitation on a certain point. The response on the other points were then recorded by a spectrum analyzer called "inertance" (i.e. ratio of response divided by force excitation). The data was analyzed using curve fitting method on the basis of the following assumption use the curve characterized by general viscous damp to analyze the data. The results were undamped natural frequency, damping factor and normal mode.
