We can find Kant's thought on aesthetics in his third Critique. On the one hand, we can consider his aesthetics as an attempt to mediate the irreconciliable problems of his first Critique and his second critique, namely natrual determinism vs freedom. On the other hand, it can also be considered as an aesthetic theory due to its systematic character. This paper is an attempt to show that Kant's thought on aesthetics should be regarded as a systematic theory, not simply as a critical one, although it is found in the context of Kant's criticism.
