Based on some of the integrational hypotheses formulated by Roy Harris, I will try to show that being at the crossroads of logos and techné is the origin of the many objects that together make up the vast domain of writing. I elaborate on the notion of object of writing, its various parts, and how the nature of objects of writing have changed over time, including remarks on the object involved in electronic writing. The interface of an object of writing is here defined by the relation between the paratextual writing and the organization of support.
